1098-T Information

The Tax Year 2025 1098-T Statements are available as of January 30, 2026.  

Your 1098-T’s can be obtained by:

  • Go to Heartland ECSI 
  • Select “Find Your Tax Document”
    • If you already have an account/profile with the ECSI portal, please log in using your account/profile username and password
    • If you are a first-time user of the ECSI portal, please register a new account/profile prior to accessing your 1098-T
  • If your 2025 1098-T does not populate, please select Add Account to access your 1098-T
    • Click the link next to “For 1098-T Tax Forms” under “Search for Your Heartland Key”
    • Search for “West Virginia State University”
    • Input your SSN and Zip Code
    • Click “Connect” after the Heartland Key is generated
